Terms of service

The rules for using Moradot, in plain words. Last updated on 4 November 2026.

1. About these terms

These terms apply between you and Moradot PSA (Moradot prosta spółka akcyjna), [registered address - to be completed], KRS [KRS - to be completed], NIP [NIP - to be completed] (“Moradot”, “we”). They are our terms and conditions for providing services electronically. You accept them by ticking the box when you first sign in, before you use Moradot, and you can read, save and print them here at any time, free of charge.

If you use Moradot for a company - for example a building management company - you accept them on its behalf, and confirm you’re allowed to.

2. What Moradot is

Moradot is an online service for managing homes in shared buildings: building fees and budgets, payments, rentals, repairs, the people involved, and the AI features described below.

Moradot is a tool. We are not your building manager, landlord or property manager, and nothing in Moradot is legal, tax or accounting advice. The figures Moradot shows are worked out from what you and the other people in your building enter, so they’re only as accurate as that data.

Moradot never holds or moves money: payments go straight between you and the people concerned. What Moradot prepares for you - fee receipts, budgets, reports, statements - comes from the data entered, so check it before you rely on it or send it on. Your tax and legal obligations stay with you.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email. Keep them secure: whoever can read your messages can sign in as you.
  • Keep your details accurate, and use your own account - one person per account.
  • You must be 18 or over to use Moradot, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if you’re 16 or 17.
  • To use Moradot you need a recent web browser and an email address or a phone number that can receive messages.

4. Buildings, homes and the people in them

  • Joining. You can ask to join a home in a building that’s on Moradot; whoever runs the building decides whether to let you in.
  • Adding a building. You can ask to add a building. We check every new building before it goes live, and may decline one we can’t verify.
  • Other people’s data. When you add information about other people - owners, tenants, residents - you confirm you’re allowed to, and that it’s accurate.
  • Running a building or letting homes for others. If you manage a building or homes, you are responsible for the data you keep about the people involved. Our data processing terms apply to that data and are part of these terms.

5. Staying safe online

Using any online service carries risks - someone getting into your email or phone, messages pretending to come from us, harmful software on your device. To protect yourself:

  • never share your sign-in codes with anyone - we will never ask you for them;
  • keep your phone, your email account and your browser up to date and protected;
  • check that you’re on moradot.com before you sign in, and be wary of unexpected messages asking you to act quickly;
  • tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.

6. Using Moradot fairly

You agree not to:

  • upload or share anything unlawful, offensive or that you have no right to share;
  • use Moradot to harass, deceive or harm anyone;
  • try to reach accounts, homes or data that aren’t yours;
  • disrupt Moradot, overload it, or copy it - including by scraping or reverse engineering;
  • use Moradot in a way that breaks the law.

If someone breaks these rules, we may remove the content concerned and suspend or close their account. We’ll tell them why, unless the law prevents us.

7. AI features

  • Suggestions. Some features suggest things for you to confirm - the details of an invoice, what a bank statement line pays. Always check them before you save: suggestions can be wrong.
  • AI assistants. You can connect an AI assistant (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Le Chat) to your account. It sees what you can see and, unless you allow changes, can only read. The assistant is a separate service with its own terms. You’re responsible for what you ask it to do, and you can disconnect it at any time.

8. Price

Moradot is free to use. Support and advanced features are paid extras: before you choose one, we tell you what it includes and what it costs, and we never charge you anything without your agreement. If we change our prices, we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance.

9. Changes to Moradot and to these terms

We keep improving Moradot, so features may change. We’ll keep it running as reliably as we can, but it may sometimes be unavailable - for example during maintenance.

We may change these terms when the law changes, when we add, change or remove features, when security requires it, or when our providers change. We’ll tell you by email at least 14 days before the change applies. If you don’t agree, you can close your account before then. If a change needs your agreement, the app asks for it the next time you open it.

10. Leaving

You can close your account at any time by writing to [email protected].

We may close an account:

  • that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms - after telling its owner why and, where possible, giving them the chance to put it right;
  • that hasn’t been used for 24 months - after telling its owner by email at least 30 days in advance.

When your account is closed, we handle your data as described in our privacy policy. Records that belong to a building stay with the building, for the people who still live there.

11. Liability

We’re responsible for providing Moradot with reasonable care. We’re not responsible for:

  • decisions made on the basis of data that other people entered;
  • what your building manager, landlord, tenants or neighbours do;
  • services we don’t run, such as the AI assistant you connect;
  • losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

If you use Moradot for a business - for example a building management company or a property manager - these also apply:

  • we’re not responsible for lost profits, lost data or other indirect losses;
  • our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused it, or €100 if you paid us nothing;
  • you’ll compensate us for claims other people make against us because of data you kept in Moradot without the right to, or in breach of data protection law.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited - for example for harm caused on purpose or through gross negligence - or the rights you have as a consumer.

12. Complaints

If something isn’t right, write to [email protected]. Tell us who you are, what happened, and what you’d like us to do. We’ll answer within 14 days.

If you’re a consumer and we can’t settle a complaint, our answer will tell you whether we agree to take part in out-of-court resolution. You can turn to an out-of-court consumer dispute body - in Poland, for example, the consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa); in Portugal, a consumer arbitration centre. You can also go to court.

13. Law

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
